We celebrated Jeremy's birthday by taking Carter to his first Royals Game! It was a beautiful night, we had fun checking out the great updates to the stadium, Carter stayed awake the entire game and seemed to enjoy all the sites and sounds. Well, maybe not all the loud cheering after big plays (he had a couple of scares after those), but all in all we all had fun and even made it on the big screen! It would have been nice if the Royals had won, but Carter did say "Dada" for the first time while we walked back to the car after the game. And he continued practicing his new skill during the ride home. What a great birthday present that was for Daddy!

Love my littlest nephew -- and looks like he loves being out at the ball game!
Carter is the third grandson I have taken to his first major league baseball game! Of course, we will have take him again when he can remember it.
