Fall Fun!
In early October Carter went to the arboretum and Louisburg Cider Mill with his cousins Sydney and Jessica.

Omaha Zoo
On the way home from Bridget's wedding we stayed a night in Omaha so we could take Carter to the Omaha Zoo. We had never been there before and had a blast! We'll definitely make the trip again. The indoor exhibits were very impressive. Carter really enjoyed it - especially the "teddy" bears, aquarium and waterfalls!

Our Sweet Boy
Tonight Carter was busy playing in his room, crawling all over from toy to toy. Then all of a sudden he crawled across the room to where I was sitting, climbed into my lap, gave me a hug, then crawled back to his toys! I guess you never know when you'll need a hug!

Then a bit later he was mad and fussing at me for changing his diaper and putting his PJs on. I was putting his toys away and he crawled over to me, pulled up on my legs and in a sad, "pick me up" voice said, "Mamama." It was so cute and the first time I've heard him say it. I just wish he'd been happier! :) Oh well, beggers can't be choosers, right?

Carter's First Day At The Pool!
Well....sort of. Carter was able to enjoy some fun in the sun with his Christmas present from the EEEEE's. He had a blast!
Here's Carter getting his feet wet.
Check out his totally COOL stars!

The Pool Party ended after about 15 minutes of splashing and smiling. Short lived - but he didn't seem to mind.

A Birthday at the K
We celebrated Jeremy's birthday by taking Carter to his first Royals Game! It was a beautiful night, we had fun checking out the great updates to the stadium, Carter stayed awake the entire game and seemed to enjoy all the sites and sounds. Well, maybe not all the loud cheering after big plays (he had a couple of scares after those), but all in all we all had fun and even made it on the big screen! It would have been nice if the Royals had won, but Carter did say "Dada" for the first time while we walked back to the car after the game. And he continued practicing his new skill during the ride home. What a great birthday present that was for Daddy!

M'Amy and Carter together after spending some time outside on our back porch. Isn't he cute his sweater vest and matching sweater hat?

Here's a shot of Carter on his 3 month birthday. Nice shirt buddy.

This outfit is from Aunt Jan and Kathy. Carter really liked wearing it but unfortunately, he has already outgrown it.
Grandpa Phil sure liked Carter's K-State hat!
February

Lisa's Uncle Ron visited us in February. We enjoyed hanging with him and his new pup, Sadie.
Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day Lisa and I were able to travel to Hutchinson. It's always so nice to visit Granny Fran, Uncle Tom and Aunt Mary.

And we'll end this post with this priceless video. I still haven't heard Carter laugh this loud since we caught this on tape. Thanks to Aunt Jill, Uncle Jason, Logan and Liam for giving Carter his FAVORITE toy, the zebra box! He still laughs or smiles every time we show him his zebra!
